"Air Splitter" Height Adjustment Kit

On current sports and racing bikes and with any type of filter, including our standard filters, one can visually see that a large part of the fuel released to the fuel injectors is dispersed, due to strength of the incoming air flow.
This can be observed by opening an airbox after a race and see how the inside of the airbox box is wet by dispersed fuel.
The introduction of the MWR racing type filter "R", with "Air Splitter", allowed us not only to balance the air flow and increasing the air available to the upper cylinders, but also to decrease the dispersion of fuel directed to the upper injectors.
As a result, adjusted and stabilized the air flows through the Air Splitter, we have directed our research on the control of the fuel flow to the top injectors because, the engine enjoying a greater quantity of inlet air, the reduction of fuel dispersions would have enabled an increase of available power.
After a long period of testing with advanced Factory Teams, we found that adjusting the distance between the filter and the plate gave the desired effect, enabling maximum speed increases of ± 5 kilometers.
The search result is represented by the offer of a height adjustment kit for the "Air Splitter" plate, reference catalog MWR 500, a device creating a wedge effect by allowing you to lift the plate input side.
The flow of air is therefore forced to travel to the bottom of the airfilter, which has the effect of minimizing the amount of fuel dispersed, a wedge effect that can be optimized by lowering the back of the plate.
After a race one can visually see that, with the heights of ''Air Splitter" well-adjusted, the inside of the air box is almost dry.
The user must consider that the MWR 500 makes necessary bench test adjustments of the fuel flow, adjustments that can go in both directions, based on variables depending on the construction of the airbox, the positioning of the air filter, the positions of the upper injectors and other variables. However, following the instructions obtained from lambda numbers the sought after increases in power will be obtained.
